Cassa di Assistenza SANINT is celebrating 30 years of activity, a milestone that takes on even greater significance in light of the recent recognition of legal personality, formalized on Dec. 1, 2025.

In its three-decade history, thanks to the growing membership of Member Companies, the professionalism of its corporate bodies and staff, the support of the Marsh broker, and the introduction of increasingly advanced services for people’s health and well-being, SANINT has grown steadily, becoming a landmark in the integrative health care landscape.

The Fund was established on November 28, 1995, as a natural continuation of the Johnson & Higgins Client Companies Pension and Assistance Fund, with the aim of continuing and strengthening exclusively welfare purposes for the benefit of Members and their employees. Its roots go back to 1988 when the Pension and Assistance Fund, now the PREVINT Pension Fund, was established.

Cassa di Assistenza Sanint offers solutions for medical-expense reimbursement and self-managed healthcare plans

The solutions that Cassa di Assistenza Sanint offers in this area are:

“COMPREHENSIVE” for categories of employees of member companies who use the Servizio Sanitario Nazionale (Italian National Health Service) only.

“SUPPLEMENTARY” for categories of employees of member companies already registered with another healthcare body/fund (FASI, FASDAC, QUAS or similar bodies).

Through MyRete a network of healthcare facilities affiliated with Cassa di Assistenza Sanint, you can initiate direct medical treatment with these facilities or access discounts for medical services.

Additional Services

Using  Marsh  a leading insurance broker that also deals with  claim refunds and ancillary services, we offer care solutions for member companies and their covered employees, which are delivered in two ways:

Indirectly, through insurance agreements underwritten by Cassa di Assistenza Sanint with insurance companies;
Directly, provided exclusively for health care through reimbursement ceilings financed and guaranteed directly by member companies for their covered employees.

Through the MyRete tool (where possible), member companies
pay the affiliated healthcare facility and surgical teams what is due directly
Discount agreements with leading clinics and opticians
Psychological care with leading providers that specialise in these services through specialist doctors and psychologists.

Cassa di Assistenza Sanint also offers injury programmes, programmes for disability caused by illness,
“LTC” programmes for the non-self-sufficient, “DD” serious illness programmes, and life benefits for employees in accordance with National Collective Agreements, company agreements and company regulations.
